ABOUT SOUL-CENTERED DREAMWORK

Working with our dreams, especially within the rich traditions of Jungian, Archetypal, Transpersonal, and other soul-centered psychologies, empowers us to utilize the language of the soul to uncover new perspectives and realities about our lives and our relationship to the world around us.

Sigmund Freud published his seminal book, The Interpretation of Dreams, in 1900, at the dawn of the 20th century, promoting the idea that dreams are a way to gain insight in the workings of the unconscious mind.

Dreams are an incredible, easily-accessible resource for life guidance that have long been valued by many mystics and indigenous cultures. Freud’s contribution to bringing the power of dream work to the forefront of global consciousness was amplified by his colleague, Carl Gustav Jung, who developed methods for deciphering their symbolic messages.

Dream work incorporates transpersonal approaches, revealing both personal and collective insights about yourself, who you really are, and what is calling you forth toward a more meaningful life.

ABOUT THE INSTITUTE

The Institute for Soul-Centered Psychology and Coaching™ was founded in 2020 by Transpersonal Soul-Centered Coach and Depth Psychologist, Dr. Bonnie Bright, in response to the challenges created by the global COVID-19 pandemic and its after effects; the ongoing and growing disintegration of social structures around the globe; and the significant increase in numbers of individuals suffering from stress, anxiety, and depression.

We need empowering approaches—soul-centered perspectives that help us find meaning in dealing with challenges such as the climate and environmental crisis; racial and social tensions; conflict and violence; and unexplored trauma and psycho-emotional distress—both individual and collective. Each of these issues points to a profound expression in our culture of what shamanic societies refer to as “soul loss.

The Institute for Soul-Centered Psychology and Coaching™ offers soul-centered programs and education based on both ancient wisdom and modern science. The flagship 1-or-2-year certification programs in Soul-Centered Coaching Psychology  deliver world-class training and certification, as well as powerful processes and opportunities for profound personal growth and transformation.

Our programs are deal for those who feel called to explore the unconscious, to find deeper meaning in life, and to live into their gifts in a soulful and creative way.
